On September 30, 2023, at the Kamenska location, where Bakić’s monument once stood, a video installation will be installed, accompanied by a short concert by the musician Marko Paunović. https://silence-monument.com/program/
The work is focused on the demolished monument of Vojin Bakić “Monument to the Victory of the People of Slavonia” in Kamenska. This project, on the one hand, presents a hommage to the author Vojin Bakić, and on the other, questions the idea of digital reconstruction of the monument using modern digital video and AR (Augmented Reality) technology.
