This year, the Kunstmuseum Celle is celebrating its 25th anniversary together with the Robert Simon Collection. The foundation for this milestone was the merger of the Celle Art Foundation, established in 1992, with the newly created Robert Simon Art Foundation. What began as a private initiative for a “temporary museum” fifteen years earlier has now officially become the “Kunstmuseum Celle.”
